Hey guys... my friend Kim and I have started a project. We are going to each post one picture a day to our blog www.eachdayisanew.blogspot.com ... no themes or boundaries...just what comes our way that day or what sparks our interest!

We are both so excited. Hope you all enjoy the shots... Kim has posted one of a fig still on the bush and it is stunning!

Anyway... while on my trek for a/the picture .... these photos are of what I saw on my way to pick Grace up from school and back.

I put a picture of "Doolittle" on the "eachdayisanew" blog. This rascal has the most personality! Go check him out... He's a goof! ha

MY GIRLS!

The weather was so crisp and the smell of the haybales just lured me in... "get out girls... time for some pictures!" Grace will be 9 years old in January and Abby will be 20 months on November 8th....

GRACE'S PHOTOGRAPHY

I sat tonight listening to Grace describing all of her photos to her Dad as she put them on my laptop and I heard her say ... I want to share that one with Mom. I just smiled to myself! There are so many times after I take pictures that the ONLY person I want to share them with is ... my Mama! I want to hear that approval and acceptance that only she can give... those compliments that if someone else told me... it wouldn't matter as much! To know that I am becoming that same person in Grace's life just made me smile!!

Thought I'd share these photos with ya'll... these are straight from "her" camera (my back up D40)... I was quite impressed with her lines and angle... but then again I am just a little biased since I'm her Mama! LOL

MAKIN' MEMORIES!

Today has been the most ideal "Fall Saturday"... what started out with rain turned into an absolutely gorgeous day on horseback with Grace and Mary Kathryn!! We rode for about 3 hours and totally enjoyed ourselves... I look at them at the ages they are now and think to myself - it's not gonna be long and they will not want to go ride with me. I try and soak up every minute of it! I'll be glad when Kricket's big enough to go ride with us! I miss Jacob a lot when we are riding... oh' teenagers... I tell ya'! I repeat to myself quite often.... MAKING MEMORIES!

Friendship!
